This is my GT sunscreen. I'm allergic to most other chemical sunscreens so I'm limited to mineral sunscreens. This one is amazing, and I love how it doesn't feel thick/pasty on the skin. Like you mentioned, it feels like a watery serum. It holds up really well in hot and humid weather too tho just need to reapply after swimming but that's normal, I'm based in Arizona it's hot as heck here lol

I noticed the brown marks that hang around after spots most in daylight, which was irritating. I can wear a lighter base now without feeling like everything shows through. I’ll keep using it.!!

Finally!! A cleanser for dark spots that doesn't feel like it's trying to remove the top layer of my face. My skin is reactive and this has been surprisingly comfortable.

My two-month update: the brown patches around my temples seemed to deepen every summer. What has mattered most is consistency. I've been patient with it because my pigmentation has been there for years. The edges of my pigmentation look more broken up and less like one solid dark patch. I'm sticking with it.

Sceptical about these things tbh the effect is gradual, not cinematic. I used it in a very basic routine, kept sunscreen in the routine, and the patch right above my mouth that concealer never quite hid ended up noticeably less dominant. That is enough for me tho it does SOMETHING which is already more than 90% of what I've tried

My hyperpigmentation is mostly leftover from old breakouts rather than melasma. I still wanted to try Fantony, and my skin tone has been looking steadily clearer.

A friend mentioned my skin looked more even before I noticed it myself. Positives: easy to work into my routine, no irritation for me, and patchy tone around my chin and mouth has become noticeably less patchy. The downside is the waiting; one deeper patch is still hanging on. The good outweighs the slow pace for me, so I’m happy.

My main concern was stubborn pigment around my forehead and upper lip. MelaRinse feels gentle on those areas and my skin looks brighter overall.

My sister asked what I'd done differently because my skin looked 'rested.' The only real change has been using the cleanser and SPF for the past 3 months so I guess if ppl notice it's a good thing lol.

I didn’t expect much from another dark-spot product. For me, if I zoom in, of course I can still see pigment. Personally, that is not how I judge it anymore. In my experience, from normal conversation distance, the contrast is softer and my complexion reads as more even. I’ve used it for six-ish weeks, mostly four or five nights a week. On my skin, the lighter areas responded first; the stubborn central patch is taking its time. For my routine, that uneven pace actually makes the result feel more credible to me. Personally, i’m happy with where it’s going.

satisfied! I reapplied twice and actually feels nice I guess cause of the moisturizer in it too. Would recommend for ppl looking for a new SPF that's safe even apart from the melasma advantage it's just a super solid sunscreen

My beard used to turn white from mineral sunscreen and I'd spend another minute trying to rub it out. With Core there's nothing left behind. It just disappears.

The unexpected lesson here was to stop inspecting my face. I used this, protected my skin, and let time do its thing. When I finally compared photos after a couple of months, the sun damage showing up as brown patches is still there, but definitely lighter. My skin is not perfect and I no longer need it to be. I still have days where the pigmentation looks darker depending on lighting, hormones or how much time I have spent outside. That used to make me think a treatment had stopped working. Looking at the longer trend instead of one random morning has been much more sensible. Across a good ten weeks, the baseline is simply better than where I started.

I've always hated skincare because it felt like homework. This is the first product that's simple enough that I've actually stuck with it. My skin definitely looks healthier now.

I use a full face of makeup for work and this is my second cleanse at night. My skin feels fresh afterward, then I go in with Mela 100. The routine hasn't caused any dryness for me.

I had one job for this product: make pigmentation across my forehead easier to live with. Now: one simple routine, consistently in the evening, and the uneven brown patches near my hairline doesn’t jump out at me in photos anymore. I much prefer this simpler setup. The progress feels believable, which I prefer. The improvement has also changed how I think about ‘results’. I used to look for one perfect mirror moment. Now I notice smaller things: I do not turn my face away from the camera, I use less coverage, and I spend less time examining the darker patch in the middle of my forehead. Those are not flashy claims, but they are the things that make the product worthwhile for me.

I’ve become very suspicious of anything promising to ‘erase’ pigmentation. I took progress photos instead of relying on memory. The blotchy areas that show through makeup on my cheeks looks less harsh in daylight. I’m happier going out bare-faced. A slow, credible improvement suits me far better than another intense quick fix. That is enough progress for me to repurchase. Another thing I appreciate is that the routine is realistic. I do not want twelve steps at night or a product that only works if I reorganise my life around it. I can use this pretty much every night, put moisturiser on, and move on. The fact that I can actually stay consistent probably matters as much as anything.

Hot-flush/perimenopause skin checking in. the melasma sunscreen isn't doing the corrective work alone; I use Mela 100 for that. What I need from sunscreen is something wearable enough to repeat daily. I can use a proper amount without feeling coated.
