SPF + Anti-Aging + Hydration in One: The Science | FANTONY

One bottle. Three jobs. This is the chemistry that makes it possible.

Why most 3-in-1 products don't actually work

The skincare industry has been trying to combine SPF, anti-aging, and moisturizer into a single product for decades. Most attempts compromise on one or more of the three jobs. The reasons are chemical, not marketing:

  • Zinc oxide is mildly ionic. When combined with peptides, vitamin C, or retinol, it can cause those actives to oxidize and lose potency within weeks in the bottle.
  • Mineral SPF at real concentration feels heavy. To block meaningful UV, you need 10–20% zinc. Without careful emulsification, that much zinc sits on the skin like a mask.
  • Day creams with SPF are almost always underdosed. Most max out at SPF 15 and skip anti-aging entirely to keep the formula stable.

How CORE solves each problem

1. Encapsulated copper peptide (GHK-Cu)

CORE uses 1% GHK-Cu — the same concentration used in published dermatological trials for collagen synthesis. But it's encapsulated in a stabilizing matrix that prevents direct ion-level interaction with the zinc oxide. The peptide arrives bioavailable, the zinc arrives inert — both work at full strength for the entire shelf life of the bottle.

GHK-Cu has been studied for over 30 years. It signals fibroblasts to produce collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans. Clinical data shows measurable wrinkle reduction and improvement in skin firmness within 12 weeks of daily use.

2. Hexagonal platelet zinc + oil-in-water emulsion

Our zinc isn't the standard spherical particles. We use hexagonal platelet technology — flat, stackable particles that shield more surface area per gram. That means we can hit SPF30 broad-spectrum protection with a lighter touch.

The formula itself is an O/W (oil-in-water) emulsion with a high water phase and a high-HLB surfactant. In plain English: it applies as a quick-break, watery cream that absorbs in 30–45 seconds. No mask feel. No greasy residue.

3. Dual molecular-weight hyaluronic acid

Most moisturizers use one size of hyaluronic acid. Large molecules (≥1000 kDa) sit on the surface and hold water there — instant plumping, but surface-only. Small molecules (≤50 kDa) penetrate deeper into the dermis and hydrate where large molecules can't reach — slower, more sustained hydration.

CORE uses both sizes in parallel. You get surface plump and deep hydration from a single application.

4. Centella asiatica + allantoin

These aren't filler ingredients. Centella (the "tiger grass" of Korean skincare) has clinically documented effects on redness, barrier repair, and inflammation. Allantoin prevents the post-application tightness that most SPFs cause. For men with beards, this is especially important — beard-adjacent skin tends to be drier and more irritated, and the allantoin acts directly where needed.

The real-world result

One bottle. Ten seconds every morning. Three actual jobs done at clinical strength:

  • SPF30 broad-spectrum UV protection (mineral only, no chemical filters)
  • Active collagen rebuilding via 1% GHK-Cu copper peptide
  • Surface + deep hydration via dual-weight hyaluronic acid

Plus: hormone-safe, beard-safe, reef-safe, fragrance-free, and invisible on every skin tone.
